Rowyn grew up in Eugene, Oregon where he attended the University of Oregon. After graduating, Rowyn worked for the UO for a while. He moved to Portland in April of 2018 and has been loving it ever since. In the past, he has worked a wide range of positions including legal assistant, barista for Starbucks, a host and a baker, and an office specialist. In the past, he has also performed in a number of musical theater shows, played the flute for 10 years, and participated in multiple choirs and a capella groups. When he was 16, he actually got to travel Europe with the Oregon Ambassadors of Music and perform all over, including in St. Mark’s Cathedral in Venice. While also working for Legacy Preservation Law, Rowyn is working on his MPS through Penn State’s online World Campus Program. He is studying Human Resources and Employment Relations and specializing in Labor Unions: Organization and Management. In the future, he hopes to become a union organizer and help the working class come together in solidarity with one another.
